Why you can trust these numbers

Every figure on the site — a day count, a fee, a titer threshold — is checked verbatim against an official source and carries the date it was confirmed. Anything we can't confirm is flagged, not guessed.

  • Sources tier 1–4

Government and official-body pages rank tier 1–2; industry and community sources are labelled as such, so you can see the strength behind each claim.

  • 2-of-3 corroboration

Safety-critical facts must agree across independent official sources before they publish — with the primary source quoted verbatim.

  • Dated & re-reviewed

Each page shows when it was last verified and when it's next due for review, tied to the regulations' own change dates.

Common questions

What does ChillNomad actually cover?

Official pet-import requirements for 15 countries, cost-of-living plus pet rules for 31 nomad cities, and the pet policies of 20 major airlines. Every claim links to its source and shows when it was last checked.

Where does the data come from?

Government and official-body pages first (tier 1–2), cross-checked against a second independent source for safety-critical facts. Cost-of-living figures come from WhereNext (CC BY 4.0); broadband medians from the Speedtest Global Index.

How current is it?

Each page carries a 'last verified' date and a 'next review due' date. Rules change — we mark what's confirmed, flag what isn't, and re-check on a schedule tied to the regulations themselves.

Is this legal or veterinary advice?

No. ChillNomad is an information resource. Requirements depend on your exact route and change over time — always confirm with the official authority before you book or travel.
